The commission reviewed a resident complaint about a Big Y video featuring Calabrese Farms, with the sender calling a commission-produced alternative "a phenomenal opportunity." Members confirmed an October 30 deadline, set by an email from Norm Cheever, to finalize master plan action items for years three through 12, and said an earlier request to Cheever for help from other town boards on Open Farm Day "never got a response." The farmland protection subcommittee will review a roughly 200-page state farmland plan with the Pioneer Valley Planning Committee, and members discussed rebuilding the farm trail brochure from scratch.
