Southwick's Open Space and Recreation Plan Committee provided feedback on a draft public survey intended to gather resident input on recreational priorities. Committee Chair Conner Fleury and members including Conservation Commission and Planning Board representatives reviewed survey questions with consultant Derek Strahan of Pioneer Valley Planning Commission. They recommended additions to activity checklists, corrections to conservation area names, and revised wording on priorities questions.
Strahan agreed to incorporate the feedback to revise the survey for distribution in September or October, with a public visioning session planned for November.
