Southwick Council on Aging opens Quiet Game Room and welcomes new Associate Member. Paula LeBlanc, chair, called the meeting to order January 12, with the board unanimously accepting prior minutes and discussing 2026 budget planning with Nicole Parker, requesting level funding with five percent allocation for real needs. The council approved a $100 Cultural Grant for a spring picnic and performance by Sara the Fiddler, and the game room features donated blood pressure monitoring equipment alongside puzzles, chess, and checkers.
Winter programming includes a fire department meet and greet on January 27, a Board of Health nurse presentation on loneliness on February 17, and a Fused Glass class on February 24.
