Southwick Economic Development Commission approves social media engagement, endorses dog park support. The commission voted to begin weekly posts through Little Dog Social Media under Serena Fuller's direction and endorsed a letter supporting the Friends of the Southwick Dog Park. Chair Greg Deily reported that the Select Board plans to present the Local Option Meal Tax at the May town meeting warrant to shift property tax burden to visitor revenue.
Members also advanced zoning revisions through the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission and a proposed Rail Trail connector to town center backed by a Complete Streets grant proposal.
