Southwick Finance Committee approves $44K in emergency transfers and backs town meeting warrant. The committee unanimously approved three reserve fund transfers totaling $44,340: $7,500 for street lighting electricity, $9,000 for public safety building fuel, and $27,840 for public safety building electricity costs. District School Committee Chair Robert Stevenson addressed the committee on the FY2027 School Budget, discussing required minimum local contributions and discretionary spending.
The committee also unanimously recommended four Special Town Meeting warrant articles: Salary Account Transfers, Snow and Ice, Other Post Employment Benefits, and Community Preservation Act Funding.
