Finance Committee hears FY2027 budget presentations from seven departments

SOUTHWICK — Budget season opens for Southwick as departments present FY2027 proposals. The Finance Committee and Select Board held a joint hybrid budget hearing on Saturday, March 21, where representatives from the Board of Assessors, Department of Public Works, Water Commission, Buildings and Grounds, Police Department, Fire Department, and the Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional School District presented their proposed FY2027 budgets. Finance Committee Chairman Joseph Deedy and Vice Chair Robert Horacek led the meeting.
No formal budget approvals were recorded in the official minutes.
