Southwick Lake Committee Recommends Significantly Stricter Ice-Vehicle Bylaws and Extraction Cost Recovery. The Lake Management Committee on April 9 recommended amendments to Chapter 75-12 and 75-17 to increase the violation fine from $50 to $200, delete a plowing exemption, and charge violators for all extraction and environmental damage. The committee approved Solitude Lake Management for three-year invasive aquatic plant management.

The Office of Fishing and Boating Affairs approved an increase in boat launch fees from $8.00 to $10.00 per boat, and ramp attendant pay was set at $16.50 per hour for the 2026 season.
