Library Director Lynn Blair reported 34 programs served 373 participants in December and January, with January use statistics rising year-over-year despite daily borrowing limits on the Hoopla platform imposed to manage costs. The FY 2027 budget submission requests a 4 percent salary increase for Assistant Librarian Heather Dunfee and a part-time programming and publicity assistant at $17.50 per hour; trustees verbalized support.
A 19 percent Municipal Appropriations Requirement prevented a requested 5 percent operational decrease that would have forfeited state aid.
