Southwick Public Library closed fiscal year 2026 with 97 percent of accounts spent while Director Lynn Blair remained on leave of absence. The town's accounting office covered budget shortfalls by transferring $5,000 from staffing to maintenance and $200 from electricity to fuel. The commonwealth appropriated $30,406 for the upcoming year in two payments approximately six months apart, with FY 2027 starting July 1 with staff pay raises effective.
