Master Plan Implementation Committee · Meeting of February 4, 2026

SOUTHWICK — Master Plan Implementation Committee approves two new police facility items. Chair Norm Cheever and the committee unanimously backed Facility and Services 1.8 New and Facility and Services 1.9 New, both previously approved by the Planning Board and Select Board. The committee also unanimously cancelled a prior commitment to hire a grant writer.

A request from the Community Preservation Committee to transfer Housing 3.2 to the Housing Authority was deferred pending follow-up by Select Board Member Diane Gale and Planning Board Member Dave Spina to clarify requirements under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 41, Section 55c and funding mechanisms.
