SOUTHWICK — Planning Board defers Crepes Tea House gazebo decision pending Board of Health review. The applicant, represented by Attorney Rachel Fancy, sought authorization for outdoor dining in an accessory structure at 157 Feeding Hills Road, with debate centered on whether 10 seats should be permanent and 10 "flex," or all 20 permanent; board members Jason Grunwald and Marcus Phelps opposed flex seating, citing past violations. The hearing was continued to March 24, 2026 by a vote of 5 to 1, with Marcus Phelps voting against.
In separate action, the Board unanimously approved a Minor Site Plan Modification for Noble Steed Subdivision (Crossing) with a nine-foot culvert and bridge span limit, and granted three unanimous motions approving a marina special permit for 141 Congamond Road authorizing 16 transient and 24 leased boat slips.
