Planning Board continues Crepes Tea House hearing, delays tree-trimming decision

Planning Board · Meeting of February 3, 2026

SOUTHWICK — Planning Board defers twin major hearings and routes tax incentive matter to Select Board. The board voted unanimously to continue the Crepes Tea House special permit hearing to March 10, 2026, pending Board of Health review, and to defer Eversource Energy's Klaus Anderson Road tree-removal project to February 24, 2026, with instructions for individual tree assessment. Vice-Chair David Spina presided in the absence of Chair Jessica Thornton.

The board also unanimously endorsed an Approval Not Required land-swap plan for 132-134 Granville Road and forwarded a Master Plan tax-incentive initiative to the Select Board, determining the matter fell outside Planning Board authority.
