Representatives of the Friends of the Southwick Dog Park, a nonprofit established in 2024, proposed donating 32 acres at 67 Hudson Drive to create Dillinger's Park, a multifunctional facility with areas for senior dogs and residents, natural preserve, and parking access to the Rail Trail; the organization pledged to fund the entire project through private grants and donations with no taxpayer cost for ongoing maintenance.
