Southwick Select Board approves park director hire and $478,890 pickleball courts. Chair Doug Moglin, Vice-Chair Russ Anderson, and Clerk Joe Deedy voted unanimously to advance Kristen Gibson as Park and Recreation Director and to authorize the Whalley Park Pickleball Courts project at its final contract amount of $478,890. The board also delegated employment authority for positions below the department-head level to Moglin, Chief Administrative Officer Nicole Parker, and Assistant Chief Administrative Officer Nadine Cignoni, and voted unanimously to establish a Contractor Authorized Signature Listing for the three board members.
Jennifer DiPietro was appointed to two open-space committee positions through June 30.
