SOUTHWICK — Select Board approves grant applications and road contracts. The board unanimously authorized applications for Johnson Brook Culvert replacement ($13,000 town match on $130,000 phase) and zoning bylaw Phase II updates, and approved FY26 Chapter 90 crack sealing and Ed Holcomb Road Phase II repaving with DPW Director Rich Bosak and Assistant Director Jon Goddard authorized as contract signatories. Multiple residents of Meadow Lane and Dairy Lane pressed the board for a timeline on repairs to roads they said have gone untouched for 20 years; Chair Diane Gale and Vice-Chair Doug Moglin indicated a prioritized project list will be presented publicly after consultation with Beta, the town's pavement management consultant.
