SOUTHWICK — Select Board endorses 2026 Wick 338 motorsports schedule, moves warrant deadline. Chair Diane Gale, Vice-Chair Doug Moglin, and Clerk Russ Anderson unanimously approved the schedule for the Wick 338 facility, which will host the Southwick National on July 11 and the first-ever AMA Massachusetts State Motorcross Championship; Fire Chief Stefanowicz and Police Chief Bannish reported no safety concerns. The board also unanimously approved Friday, April 17, as the closing date for the Annual Town Meeting warrant, moving it from April 20 to avoid Patriot's Day.
Town Clerk Christie Myette reported nomination papers have been offered and several candidates have already requested them. The Lake Management Committee presented a $250,000 three-year DCR grant for hydrilla treatment running through 2027.
