Southwick Board of Appeals Approves Minutes, Recaps Contested Ruling
Other Committee · Meeting of July 27, 2026
Southwick Board of Appeals recaps fallout from a contested notification dispute at 351 North Loomis. Chairman Chris Mastriani walked the three-member board, joined by Dan Tobias and Wendy Foguero, through weeks of contacts since the board's June 22 decision overturning the town building inspector, including a call from the property owner claiming he was never notified and, most recently, a July 23 inquiry from an attorney representing the concrete products business. "I'm not aware of any do-overs," Mastriani told the board, describing his response to the attorney's question about reconsidering the decision.
Members unanimously approved the June 22 minutes, with absent member Bill Liss's informal sign-off counted toward the vote, and adjourned at 7:12 p.m. having taken no new votes on the underlying case.
