Southwick Conservation Commission Issues Restoration Order for Granville Road Property
SOUTHWICK — June 15, 2026 — Southwick Conservation Commission approves wetland delineation and issues amended restoration enforcement order. At the June 15 hybrid meeting, the commission unanimously approved an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation for 591 College Highway after applicant representative Cole Modesto of Ardlebeck Associates confirmed wetland boundaries fall outside the subject parcel and that a bordering stream is intermittent. The commission also unanimously approved an amended enforcement order for 201 Granville Road, requiring a restoration plan within 30 days of receipt and all work completed by November 30, 2026. A member presented an extensive photo report from a June 13 site visit to a dam and bowl project at 159 Berkshire Avenue, noting no completion schedule exists despite a November 2025 deadline having passed; the owner's consultant must provide a schedule by July 3 and expects full project completion by November 2026. The commission flagged unauthorized handicap ramp installation at 157 Feeding Hills Road as a potential floodplain concern requiring follow-up.
