Board of Assessors declines purchase right for Chapter 61A property

Southwick Board of Assessors declined its right to purchase Chapter 61A property at 177 Klaus Anderson. Chairman John Cain and Clerk William Brown voted to accept warrant and commitment documents for Southwest Cooperative and the Town of West Springfield and approved all statutory exemptions. Director of Assessment Randall Austin reported consulting with the Conservation Commission about the property.
The board determined the purchase would not serve the town's interests.
