Southwick Planning Board Approves Loomis Street Permits, Tables Sheep Pasture Parcel Swap

SOUTHWICK — June 16, 2026 — Southwick Planning Board unanimously grants four special permits for South Loomis Street subdivision and tables a parcel swap over an unidentified structure. The board, chaired by Jessica Thornton, voted 4-0 on each of four motions to approve an amended estate lot special permit, common driveway special permit, stormwater management special permit, and the formal written decision for 6 South Loomis Street, a project represented by Mike Ballin of Arlobeck Associates on behalf of owner Vladimir Milkovoid. On the same night, the board declined to endorse an approval-not-required plan for 93 and 95 Sheep Pasture Road after Thornton flagged an unidentified structure appearing on GIS that is absent from the submitted plan and may sit within the required 10-foot setback of the new property line. The board also unanimously endorsed a four-lot approval-not-required subdivision at 177 Clausson Anderson Road and approved an accessory dwelling unit site plan at 1 Falcon Crest. One unnamed board member announced a resignation effective this week, and the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission is scheduled to present zoning rewrite options at the board's next meeting on July 14.
