Southwick Board of Assessors approves FY27 preliminary tax warrants. The board, with Chairman John Cain and Clerk William Brown present, approved preliminary Real Estate and Personal Property Warrants and Commitments for fiscal year 2027, along with supplemental tax warrants for properties at 97 Sheep Pasture and 34 Hudson Drive, the May abatement report, removal of a Chapter 61A lien for 177 Klaus Anderson, and the Bishop and Associates invoice. Director of Assessment Randall Austin announced that Cindy DeMay had achieved Certified Assessing Assistant status with the State, and said the office will seek staff assistance with permit inspections and quotes for cyclical inspection services while collaborating with Town Planner Alvin Allen on the TIF process.
